Is this safe to stir up?

i was wondering if it would be safe to stir up the edges of the sand in my tank to clean up the glass and get all the purple stuff on it off?

Is it possible to clean it without stiring it ?

Maybe a razor scrapper along just the front. not sure how clean it would look though. Your other sand looks nice & white how do you mange that?

I would say leave it alone, depending on how long it has been set up. If you must do like cracker said and get a razor along the front. Try to avoid stirring it up to much.


I actually think it looks pretty cool.

It’s been running almost a year, est around 8-9 months, I haven’t really done much to keep the sand white I just have a few hermits and a sand sifting starfish, and actually I will just leave it as it is. Lol
