This is the outside seam between the left side panel and front panel on a new 180 tank. I want to know if the tank will be ok. The manufacturer tells me the tank has spacers in between the panels to allow for expansion, but it's a decent sized gap between the panels and isn't completely filled with silicone. It runs from right under the top plastic trim, halfway down until the silicone is filling the complete gap

Looks fine to me (been in the tank mfg business for years). Look from the right side... any major bubbles? if not, you're good. It's sunk in because of how they smeared it... no worries

I can't see bubbles in black silicone. They're usually in the middle of the silicone so with clear it's easily visible. This could have a ton, but I can't tell.

I was just worried that the inside silicone is the first to go, leaving what's in the gap to hold things together. With 180 gallons and a high flow rate pushing all that water against the front panel, I just wanted to make sure it will hold for a long time, or not leak.
