The time it took you to ask here, it may be gone, lol. I'd bring it home. I'd drain the tank, toss the sand and bag the clownfish (with tank water). Keep the rock from drying out, buy new sand, get it home and use the salt that they gave you to make new water (RODI of course or from a LFS).

Put the rock in a tub or trash can fill with tank water enough to cover the put a pump blowing on it or air stone . Make sure you have a heater , bag the fish and coral and float in same container or put them in a five gallon bucket with lid , heater , pump . Drain the rest of tank . Clean tank at destination . Have water change water made up ahead of time at destination and then clean tank .add tank water with rock ,transfer heater and pump over to the tank , add fish and coral then top off with new water previously made . Last time I moved after it was all done with tank water and everything It ended up to basically doing a 30% water change . What I just told you would be good enough for a six hour trip any more and I’m sure you’ll be fine as long as you have flow and a heater set up to your rock . You may need a inverter to plug in both heater and pump . It’s definitely a two person job . If it’s free and in good condition and that’s what you want I would go for it if it’s not too far away . You didn’t mention how far away it was for you . Also if you don’t mind sell the inhabitants to a lfs it would make the move easier. Good luck

It’s about 45 mins away….it was still available as of my posting I dnt think it has been claimed owner is responding very slowly but as if it’s available…..I’m trying to get info about setup / equipment

To be exact, its a 32 gallon coralife Bio Cube. Many parts available if needed and is one of the best starter systems out there and self contained.
By all means grab it- I also believe its seamless therefore likely not to leak

I get paid for the experience and skillset, lol. As I tell management, we don't have to be here, but when the airplane breaks time is money. They can pay me to sit at home and be on call but that plane will sit at the gate until I get here and fix it.

What I do with my down time... I figure its a perk for being willing to work weekends, in the airline industry for the past few decades.

I've worked for a few airlines (passenger & cargo) over the years, consolidation pre & post 9/11 sucks. Im currently with one of the 'bigger' passenger airlines.

I work in aviation as well . I overhaul the parts for you to install .
