Is this sand or crushed coral?

Hey reefers. Sorry but I am having trouble telling if this is crushed coral or not. That is a dime for reference.

Bummer, I was trying to stay away from crushed coral. I want some bottom dwellers that I believe wont do well in crushed coral. Can I mix the crushed coral with sand?

Looks like crushed coral to me. If You keep it stirred up good to avoid crud build up it will work fine. This may also narrow your list of sand sleeper/dwellers .

Another vote for crushed coral. You could try and sift out the big pieces.

It's more finely crushed than usual but agree it's crushed coral.
