Is this Sand?

My 3 month old tank has got cloudy and I don't really know why. I have taken a video to show the particle against the back of the tank. Do you guys think it's sand? I added some thicker sand a couple of weeks back but not sure if it is related to this?

Are you using any mechanical filtration.

Looks like particulates, that should resolve with mechanical filtration like a sock, floss, foam.

Just added filter floss a few hours ago so hoping that will resolve it. Do you think it's sand?

Does not look like an algae or bacterial bloom. If mechanical does not work after a couple days post back. I would run some charcoal as well if you're not.

I have some carbon too so will update in a few days.
