Is this Silicone aquarium safe?

Your link isn’t working for me. You want 100% silicone, nothing that says fast drying (ie “30 minute rain ready”), nothing with mold inhibitors.

Sorry - for some reason it doesn’t work — it’s silicone II which I found out can nuke a tank [emoji29]. Sounds like I need to find Silicon I or one that is FDA certified:

I found GE Silicone I 10.1-oz Clear Silicone Caulk
Item # 47209 Model # LW012A

It has his in description- Compliant for incidental food contact under FDA 21 CFR177.2600
GE Silicone I All Purpose 100% silicone is compliant for incidental food contact under FDA 21 CFR177.2600 rubber articles intended for repeated use

If you don't mind me asking, what are you planning on using the silicone For? And the GE I will work great for you another option is Momentive RTV 101,102,103 Silicone if you can find it.

It’s for a sump (baffles). I found GE Silicone I in town. Everything else mentioned I can’t find locally [emoji29]

The GE Silicone I will probably be all you will find locally, Momentive is typically only found online.

I can’t find the GE silicone everyone is recommending via videos or through modular marines instructions. This is what I fine locally. I can’t tell if it is safe [emoji29]

No that one is not safe. You want GE I not II or GE 100% Silicone in the white and red tube its sold by the plastic and glass sheets in the window and door area.

This is my favorite due to it working with glass and acrylic very well. Plus being for aquariums.

From my build. You can see I used Silicone I this time. Just let it cure for several days before use.
