I am looking to purchase a tank, but I have a concern...the silicone. What are your all’s thoughts?

It is difficult to see and impossible to know where, on the tank that is, however, I see what looks like a cracked piece of glass right at what appears to be a water line within that siliconed seam...

I'd be more worried about that glass being chipped then the silicone.

It looks like its heavily stained but you can't tell unless you feel it. If you can lift it up in parts or its getting rigid then it needs to be re-sealed.

Silicone is fine, but ya what’s going on at the top there? A crack, chip, or just dirty.

This is at the corner of the tank, near the top. The piece you see going horizontally across the top of the picture and to the right is top brace.

Not that. At the water line is that a chip or dirty. All that blurry area.

It is the top front corner of the tank. And it does appear to be a piece missing.

I see where you all are talking about...looks like a diagonal line where the edge of the glass turns from dark to light (possibly indicating a missing piece, or silicone over that part making it appear that way, but that seems less likely to me).

And the ragged edges of the silicone make me think it could be pealing from the glass some (plus the discoloration is distracting).

So I am passing on the tank :::sigh::: I know you are right @14 foot reef , I just want a big tank, and I want it RIGHT NOW :::said in my best tantrum voice:::
