Hello, I have recently purchased an Aqueon 75 that I am planning to drill and do a DIY sump (I have verified the panel I want to drill is not tempered). The issue is while leak testing it I have noticed some micro bubbles in one corner of the tank that appear to be under the extra silicone they always add but not sure if the seal itself could be compromised. Thoughts?

Hard to tell from the pic but it appears the bubbles are all over and not contained to the silicone.. I would say it’s okay.

My only concern are the micro bubbles under the silicone. I have put my hand in the tank and confirmed the bubbles are under the silicone and not just on top. The tank is outside at the moment so there are micro bubbles all over it from the temperature changes but the bubbles on the glass are not my concern at all.

If you are concerned, exchange it.
I already have. This is the 2nd tank and it's doing the same thing but in a different spot so I am posting to see if anyone else has had the same experience.

What about going over the silicone bead with a reputable silicone brand? The reviews on Petco mostly say the bottom seal is known for giving out
