Is this soda lime usable for CO2 control in our reefs?

While looking through various websites I came across this offer for 36.3 lbs of soda lime in pellet form: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Soda-Lime-...-Sodasorb-Carbon-Dioxide-JorVet-/382279526790

Would this be OK for reef tank use and is the price decent? It's 1/4 of what I'm used to paying...

That's the brand I've been using. But then again, it's the only brand I've tried so I can't compare. Great price compared to similar products.

It raised my PH from 7.81 to 8.02 in a couple of days. After a couple of weeks it leveled off and now averages out at around 7.97 with a +/-.03 swing. I know you're not supposed to be chasing numbers but I figured if I could increase it, why not. I have tried all the other tricks that I have read about, i.e., open windows, running airline outside, even tried the aeration test outside. Nothing else change it. Checked my PH with 2 probes and 3 different test kits and they all agree. I know that my previous levels were within the acceptable range. I just wanted to optimize it if possible. So for now... corals grow, fish are fat, wife is happy, I guess I should be too. ;Joyful (Sometimes it's hard to hold down the perfectionist in me.)
