Is this Solomon Hairy Leather a goner?

Got a shipment of mushrooms, Duncans, and zoas yesterday. Everything perked up very nicely except for the leather. He was flopped over in the shipping bag and has stayed this way. I also saw some polyp shedding as well.

Should I keep him in there and see what happens or is he definitely going to die?

I’d leave it alone, assuming you have given it good water parameters, I think it could bounce back.

Keep it just in case. Leathers are constantly retracting to shed algae, sometimes for days.

Keep it and don’t move it a lot. For me, it is not a goner not unless it is melting.

Agree with what has been said. If it isn't turning to mush give it some time. Leathers have been very pouty for me. The least bit of handling cause mine to start wilting or close up depending on type of leather.
