I've just now noticed these little pod looking creatures on my tank after a good observation what are they and are they good?

Good stuff. Looks like Tisbe pods. Your tank is maturing. Pods are good for mandarins, pipefish, wrasses.

Awesome but not awesome I was planning on taking down the tank. Will I be able to move them into my other tank?

Are you moving any of the rocks, corals, sand, etc?

'Pods will come with that - they're not just on the glass.

I kid you not but I only have 3 hermit crabs about 40 baby nerite snails in there and one huge shell. It used to be home for two of my lightning maroons.

I was thinking about Turkey basting them into a refugium that I'm going to set up for my new tank( will this work?)

That would work but if it's a new refugium they may not last. They like mature tanks. They feed on phytoplankton.

Oh ok I'll get a bottle and leave them there for a while
