Is this still a nitrate factory?

I unintentionally added a algae turf scrubber to my HOB filter. It also has biopellets in it. Is it still a nitrate factory?

Nice! I run an algae turf scrubber after my bioball said and it keeps nitrate well in check. Phosphates I run phosguard and it easily keeps it in check, only thing I wonder is if it would be a big enough scrubber. I should add its still a nitrate factory it just might pull them out fast enough that it doesn't matter...
