So I recently got a 33Gallon tank / 120L
And Im likely to get my first fish or two in a few days but first I wanted to confirm the fish I want to get and came up with this but do you guys notice and potential problems with the fish (order I list will Be order I put fish in)
2 fire fish (will try and find a pair)
Diamond watchman goby
2 mandarin fish (male and female)
2 clownfish (likely one standerd and one white)
1 coral beauty (I know it may outgrow the tank but by the time it does I’ll likely be upgrading)

Was also thinking of a yellow tang but I found too much conflicting information I concluded that they can survive in a 30gallon but they arnt happy etc

(My current tank bellow)
Current stock
- 1 fighting conch / stromb snail
- 3 hermit crab (Clibanarius tricolour)
- 1 trochus snail

How old is your tank? It may be a struggle to keep 2 mandarins in a 30g without lots of pods.

Try to get a biota coral beauty, they come very small and will be ok for the 30g for some time.

Otherwise don’t see problems. Good luck!

Tank started 24th of January
Live rock added 28th of January
But I have supplemented the bacteria

With the mandarins I plan on buying frozen food if I can otherwise finding a place to buy live pods but I know I won’t be able to sustain them On just the tanks population
And thanks for the advice for the coral beauty

A 30g will struggle to maintain 1 mandarin, let alone 2. Allow the tank to mature for a year before adding a mandarin.

A coral beauty will outgrow a 30g. Consider a cherub angel instead.

Diamond gobies are not a good choice for smaller tanks. They are a sifter, not a watchman. They deplete a system of beneficial microfauna and get larger than you think. Stick with a true watchman species for that size tank.
