It looks to have some HLLE going on. The color of the photo is a little off to say more. At first I thought it had some very troublesome red coloring but it may be an artifact from the picture.

Here is some information on it for you.

#mods can we get this moved to the fish disease section to get some more eyes on it?

Thank you for the info hats what I was thinkOmg there is no red on just the scars around the eyes I'm waiting to receive my selcon from dr foster and smith hopefully this helps reverse it in time to get him back to normal

Glad to help. Did you do any type of QT with this fish? I'm seeing what "may" be flukes but again, very hard to tell. I think it would be worth doing a fresh water dip to check for them. Here is how to do it, if you aren't familiar.

Those look much better! Still see some questionable marks on the fins but the overall coloration looks much healthier. I'd still do a FW dip if you can, otherwise I think that the Selcon is a great start. HLLE can heal slow, but it does normally heal over time.

It's impossible to catch this tang
They can be a real challenge. If you can't catch him to do a FW dip, try to keep a very close eye on him for rapid breathing, flashing, or rubbing against rocks.
