Is this the correct PVC Material?

I highly recommend that you purchase cepek ball valves. The ball valves at the big box stores are junk

+1 to this. I used sch 40 valves from the home center and they are junk. They stick really bad.

Since they are 3/4 do I use something to jump up to 1 in?

Definitely recommend the clear cleaner so you don't have the purple mess. Bonus is the clear cleaner will wipe off all the marking on the pipe if you want a cleaner look w/o needing to paint it.

Last question lol until I start it. Should I add the bulk head at the bottom of the brute so the bulk head is flush and no water stays inside the brute or should I just angle a pipe down and go from the side?
