Is this thytoplankton dead?

Is it dead? It sure does stink!
Another question is it fine to just put iron in it or do i need fertalizer

Has been in fridge for 3 weeks, just fertilized with iron and put air tube in an hour ago

Imo, I wouldn't use it if it stinks

It smells like poo, but you have to put your nose on opening of the bottle to smell it
