Hello everyone,

as I'm a complete coralnewbie and just got my first coral, I'm not really confident in coral placement.
This sarcophyton is now 1 hour in my tank. Does it look happy with his new home? Looks like polyps are extending. Right?

Measured 50 par there.

Thank you

Overall is looks pretty happy for a new coral. I would move it to a higher light area. Make sure it has good flow over it as well. It's best to have alternating/random flow rather than a constant flow in the same direction.

One hour in? .... I wouldn’t worry for now, I’ve had toadstools look withdrawn for months;
Not in this case but sometimes they look odd after look It goes through this phase when lil “balls” drop off of the “lobes” and float ofF for new toadstools...
too much flow of the wrong can make it unhappy also... ...50 par is a lil low, but toadstools have a wide tolerance for different lighting and can live a long time and get big

Thanks for your replies. 2 of them are doing fine now, the one I posted earlier expanded very nice. Took the advice and placed them higher.
Still one not showing any polyps. Wait and see or?
