Is this too much flow for a torch?

I know it is one directional and I'm trying to figure out how to fix that. Unfortunately my return pump it's too strong and kind of overshadows the wave maker.

The video won't load for me. But I've seen some torches in pretty strong flow. They tend to grow longer and thinner polyps then in slower or multidirectional flow which produce thicker polyps. At least from my experience.

Mine is too but its not constant like his. He is getting most of his flow from his return so its constant and uni-directional.
Op, if you have enough adjustment in your return nozzle. Maybe aim the return up torwards the surface. That way you dont lose any of the water movement but the flow should be a lot less linear.
.

amount is fine ,one direction will peel it ,have to adjust that flow to back and forth ,even a piece of rock placed right could help
