Is this too much flow for my new torch? I have a reefwave 25 in a IM 50g INT. This is my only wavemaker (+return pump) in the tank. I have it set to 20% forward on the far left of the tank for 7 minutes then 20% for 2 minutes. Attached is a photo showing the wavemaker placement. The torch sits directly beneath the wavemaker so it only gets direct flow when going in reverse.

(P.S. Sorry about the nosy clown lol)

I think flow is slightly high and it needs to be multi direction random speed. Also your tank looks brand new. Euphyllia can be difficult corals in a new tank.

Any ideas on how to improve flow in a tank with just the one gyre?

I would just try to randomize it with the return nozzle as mentioned above. Keep in mind you want good surface ripple to for gas exchange.
