to much air turbulence, you running a gate valve on your drain ?Increased the speed of my return pump and now I wonder if this is too much for the algae in the sump. Will it get ripped up? Stop growing?
no gate valves... I was a newb when I plumbed. Now I'm a newb algae keeper. I suppose I could put a couple in. Anything else I can do? Will the algae die or just not thrive?to much air turbulence, you running a gate valve on your drain ?
edit: turbulence caused by air coming down the drain pipe
don't know about the algae, but it don't look good for it. You only need one gate valve on your drain, leave emergency open. The emergency drain needs to end just above sump water level.no gate valves... I was a newb when I plumbed. Now I'm a newb algae keeper. I suppose I could put a couple in. Anything else I can do?
