High i just got my first LPS today which is a 2 headed hammer and i was wondering if this was the right placement/ flow because i have only kept zoas/softies before this. It has been in the tank about an hour now and has opened up but not fully so was wondering whether it was due to the flow?

I think you meant to post a video or picture that has not yet come through.

I would give it a little more time to see if it opens on its own.

With it only being in the tank for an hour it is completely normal for it to still not be open much. The fact it is open some is a great sign. It can take a day or two for it to start opening up normally. I would leave it alone and just let it acclimate.
