Hi, I noticed my clowns have been staying the the bottom right corners of the tank and top back right corner next to the filter output which is the second photo. My power heads or non adjustable. Should I change the flow pattern (and if so how) to make it better for them or did they just adopt those spots as their home? They have never been in any other part of the tank and I want to start getting other fish soon so I want to make sure that everything is ok. Thanks

**Arrows are flow directions**

The flow doesnt matter to them. My clowns live in that same corner too, and have never moved from that spot for the past 2 years that I've had them.

To me your flow patter looks fine. You will likely adjust the flow as time goes on and you add corals and more stuff.

Hi, u didn't say how much gph the pumps are.
Any way regardless of the awnser I would say no u don't have to much flow.
It's normal for clowns to stay at one part of the tank.
Clown fish pick a part of the tank (can be an anemone, euphyllia or leather but also a piece of rock or a corner and make that their home.
When you add more fish and or the clowns get older they will probably swim around the tank but they will always return to their spot.

Tang last always.
Least agressive first
You’ll need to put a top on that or your wrasse and goby WILL jump out.

So in addition to your clowns.

A firefish, a Royal gramma, a Bangaii, and three simple purple eye Anthais.

The scope can be quite a handful.

I trade that for 1 yellow tang.

Do you have a link or smth for a top? I have not been able to find one for my dimensions.

Thanks for the suggestions appreciate it.

ClearView makes a stunning top IMM.
Made in the USA too!

BTW…I see Visparspectra lights, love them but note they push some big PAR.

On a new system, I might be 10 blue and 1 white, until she matures up. Fish don’t care about light but algae does.

Even with corals, I don’t go above 40% blue and 20 white, o4 they would fry my corals.

How big is your tank?

A scopas tang get quite big up to one feet...
I would indeed go for a yellow tang 75> or a bristeltooth tang 55g> depending on the tank size.
And the tank sizes mentiond are realy the smallest I would go.. most would consider them too small.
I realy recommend you to research a fish or anything realy befor you put it in your tank.
At liveaquaria you can see the reccomendation of tank sizes and other valuable information about fish and more.
For example at liveaquaria they reccomend a tank size of 125g for a scopas.

I agree with the fish uncle mentiond but I would swap the anthias for some chromis.
Also don't forget the critters!
Snails, shrimps, reefsafe ish crabs/hermids and small reefsafe starfish are very cool and usefull too

Awesome tank btw uncle!
