Is this too much nori for a dwarf angelfish?

Try breaking it into little pieces and see if they go after that. They may just not know what exactly it is. I had to train my tang and fox face like that.
So did I.

I would not suggest soaking in garlic. This what i used link
I already bought the nori. What's the reason for not using garlic. How about Selcon?

The fish are attracted to the flavor. The garlic has very little health benefits. Wetting the nori will only make the nori turn to mush and be hard to handle. If you have the nori load in the clip and lightly mist the nori with garlic or Selcon, that might work.

I feel like my turbo snails are eating all my nori sheets at night... they are clipped on the glass for my foxface but I'm suspicious of the snails...

They're all still ignoring it.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Personally I would just put a small bit on a clip, and replace it as it either gets eaten or comes apart. They are quite curious. It will probably go investigate it eventually and hopefully realize it's food. I don't find my Coral Beauty is super aggressive about Nori but she does eat some. Mine will eat almost any food I offer (fresh, frozen, dry), and is constantly picking at the rocks as well.

I use a clip on the glass. The yellow tang is the first to rip into the seaweed sheet. I put 1/2 a sheet in. Then when the fish are done let the little bit float around and settle somewhere so the crabs can have something. I also take some macro algae out of the refugium and throw that in for them, it's like eating spaghetti.

I'm not against having a good time babying your fish! And an entire industry has been formed around that behavior and I'm all for jobs for fellow fish geeks. But to be honest, from a 40 year in-the-hobby perspective-- the fish just need the nutrition, and the rest is for fun. herbivores do need multiple feedings a day but can get by and grow on two meals a day. I feed three flames, one coral beauty and two lemon peels this way--- I also have grown a school of hippos and a school of yellow tangs in my 440 this way and now need to swap out the hippos and heniochus as they as they have just gotten too big in the past year. so what do I do? Frozen mysis and frozen ocean plankton along with some frenzy ( basically frozen clam and seaweed) in the morning. Cut up strips ( no bigger than half a tooth pick in size) of nori in the very early evening. Twice a week I don't do this and substitute pelleted food ( two meals a day those days also) and I skip Wednesdays-- no food at all. I have very large filters ( two - sumps 120 gallon each) so I can get away with this much feeding as long as I do my maintenance/duel skimmer cleaning and water changes on Saturday. I'll see if I can get a picture of my big flame angel-- huge and chubby

My fish wouldn't go near the veggie clip until I disguised my veggie clip look more like a rock. Holds the nori well, sinks to the bottom and looks more natural. I used a frag plug that looks like a piece of rock rubble, glued it into the hole of the veggie clip. Such a simple fix the fish went for it after.
