Is this toomuch back pressure on an Aqualifter

Hey yall,
I am working on setting up some auto dosing systems for my 2 part. I am using aqualifters on timers as suggested in the DIY thread. I currently have my aqualifters calibrated to drip at 1.25mL per minute using an airline valve. Anyone know if this is too much back pressure for my lifter? Here is a video to show the drip rate. I calibrated with a 25mL graduated cylinder and stopwatch. Sorry for the background sound (turn down your speakers)

I don't think they will last long running that slow. Those are actually a diaphragm pump and work much like those pumps you see in freshwater. I used to use those with my CPR overflow, and they required monthly cleaning in order to run properly.

Good luck with your project though, I know the hobby is quite expensive, and traditional dosing pumps are outrageous!

yeah I posted the question in the DIY forum before I tried it but they didn't seem to think it would be a problem. I'm kinda worried however and would love more opinions. good news is it will only be pushing water for a minute at a time

every 6 hours it will come one 1 minute

4 equal doses is what I was going for...maybe will have to do 2 or 3 minutes...I need 20mL a day of 2 part each part to supplement my kalk topoff
