Is This Trouble?

This started as the vertical tube and a small purple patch six months or so ago and has gradually increased in size. It does not seem to worry the coral and in places the coral is growing over it. Is it ok or should I remove it? If so, how? Thanks for the help.

Nothing to be concerned with. I would remove it just so the coral can have clear space to grow. If not it will continue to grow over it.

The coral is growing over it. This is why I’m unsure about it.

The acan looks very happy so I wouldn’t worry about it
