I have cleared this plug off before (apparently not well enough..) anyways, is this Ulva that’s growing?

It look it's popped bubble algae :)
May be ulva alg, but do you intorduce it in ? And if you have any snails..., they will take it off before you notice you have it.

I was hoping not, the last time it grew (same plug) was also not filled like a bubble but same leaf shape as this one. Guess I will do a better job clearing it off this time..

I originally noticed it when the plug was on a frag rack. Same small single non air filled leafy shape. I scraped it off, and this new one has returned on the same plug

Sorry mate, I'm not sure. Leave it if you wish in the sump and watch it what will come out ;)

The only other algae that has a similar appearance and often is a hitchhiker is dictyota. But it looks like ulva to me, but too early to tell? Either one should be removed from the display or the likelihood of spreading throughout is pretty high. Care must be taken to not allow a piece to break off in the display.
Just take the plug out and snap off that section of the plug.

That is Ulva. Dictyota looks very different. I have both in my tanks if you need comparison photos.
I agree that it's ulva, but the pic didn't give me much detail on my phone. That and it looks to be a tiny piece.

Like I know most of the grazers are eating it, so if you have, I'm not going to worry about. I was trying to have it, but most of my snails eat it for no time.
