I have had this wrasse for 4 months. It was eating fine and healthy until I saw some scratching. Fearing flukes, I dosed the tank with praziquantel powder. All other fish are fine and normal except this one. Post the praziquantel treatment, the wrasse went into hiding and stopped eating. It emerged from hiding last week with these white scars on the sides. Currently it is not eating but swimming around erratically near the surface. As it's a Fowlr tank, I keep it at 28 ppt salinity and also have a UV sterilizer attached. Have a Bioreact 120 to with biopellets to control nitrates.

Don't see any pics. Uronema usually is very fast a couple days so based on that thunk it's something else.

Sorry, no video or pictures are showing up.

What praziquantel product did you use?
Do you know the dose?
Did you add supplemental aeration?

I too see no video attached and I am hoping that you did not just drop in powder as I am aware of liquid versions of prazi which does reduce oxygen levels in some cases. Powdered I believe is 9mg per gallon of water and has to be premixed Before application and reason I use liquid is the powdered version is very hard to fully dissolve and often requires ethyl based alcohol to accomplish this.
