Picked this up for free a few days ago. I found they're like $15 at your local big box PetPlace.

I was thinking they could be a qt for corals, very small fish (not tangs [emoji1] ) or inverts. If you put nitrifying media inside of it. Another part of me thinks it's too small even for that.

What do you think?

Way too small for QTing anything. Evaporation alone would cause huge swings in parameters.


You could use it to organize your food, tests, or tools, however.

I think that would work well for qt purposes. Dipping coral and if you need to soak a fish for brook come to mind.

I put my fish in it and put it in the tank as a way to introduce the fish but they can't fight

Hang on to it, can be useful for isolating fish or inverts inside of a larger tank if needed.
