Could the marks and fin damage be caused by aggression from the other ones or are they all looking like this?
One is already dead and both the other 2 look like this on both sides body.

Nothing came off in FW dip I just did so maybe bacterial and or fungal. They were 5 hours late being delivered too so who knows. Going to treat as fungal and bacterial with Kanaplex, metroplex and furan 2

As of this morning all 3 flame angels are dead.
This was response from well known fish disease person

Sorry to hear of the substantial loss.

Hindsight - velvet will show extreme rapid breathing every time.
What was the salinity of the shipping water compared to your tank?
The fish has a bit of a pinched nape, that isn’t good.
So - what was the expected compatibility of this trio? I only handle these as singletons, one to a cube, so I really have never tried keeping a trio before….

Salinity in bag was 1.025 my tank was 1.024
I asked him in advance so I could match it. I don’t take their word for it either, I test it when they arrive. (Learned lessons there before)

I have seen a few people on the forums that have trios and liked the idea.
They advertise on their site that you can buy singles, pairs, and trios. So I figured they knew what they were doing and how to pair them up. And I know you can visually see a difference between M/F flame angels but need a good eye to see it. Vender told me they had all 3 been together in same tank since I ordered a trio which was 26 days from order to delivery. They were supposed a bonded trio.
The fish came in 3 different sizes. Biggest 3”, medium just under 2” and smallest 1 1/2”. The medium fish was mildly chasing the little one, but nothing really bad. Littlest one still had eye spot so was a juvenile and the middle one appeared to be a juvenile transitioning. The largest fish had no aggression to either one. Within 30 hours littlest one was dead. Next morning other two were gone. Not even full 4 days since I received them.

I questioned the vendor about being a bonded trio and this was his response;

Observation/qt tank was set up 4 weeks and fully cycled. I am no newby and been in the hobby for 15 years now. Have always quarantined my own fish with pretty good success. I have also successfully qt and paired Interruptus angel, and some butterflies, so I know I thing or two. :)

Thought I would try this route of pre quarantined fish due to surgery on my shoulder in the spring. Not fully back to normal and on weight restrictions still. So thought this would be easier on my shoulder. Thankfully I have trust issues and set up an observation tank before just adding to my DT.

Pictures of fish the day they arrive right out of the bag. You can see some whiteish spots. Camera didn’t pick it up as good as it looked in person. Each day spots got worse and more visible.

Well, personally I would have held them in at least a 20 long. A 10 is too small for the long term, but would not have caused this acute death for the short term. What they are saying regarding the microbiome is correct to an extent, but again, I don’t see that causing rapid death like that.
Sounds like you had a good handle on the salinity aspect of acclimation, how did you manage the ammonia?

Had ammonia badge in tank and API ammonia test kit. No ammonia was present. I tested it twice a day. Also had 40 gallons salt water mixed and ready for water changes. And had Bio- Spira on hand. Thought since they were supposed to be bonded trio and pre quarantined and small fish that the 10 gall would be sufficient for short term which is what I was planning on. But yeah in hind sight I should had my husband help me set up my 20 L. (could not do it myself due to my weight restrictions right now. ) But I don’t think that was cause of deaths so quickly.

I don’t use nets either to limit damage to the fish caused by nets. I use these colanders instead.

You have two types of vendors, those who will and those who won't do the right thing by their customers.
They should have done right by a customer that spends the funds for a trio of Flame Angel's, that is a customer that will definitely buy from them again.

If they don't make this right, you should advise the community, we have a right to know who will take advantage of the hobbyist.
I'm sorry for the situation they placed you in.
