Is this from my fish or coral trying to breed?
2 euphylia, one yellow wrasse, one cardinal, two clowns, acans, favia, zoas, cyphastira, blastos, gsp and a scoly.

These pics are taken with lenses to reduce blue light, that’s how it looks in person

do you have a surface skimmer or overflow to sump? i dont think its breeding activity, its most likely just crap sitting on the surface, but even if it was there is an extremely low possibility of coral breeding being successful in our reef tanks

I wish I did, the only other thing I can think of is dead algae from lowering phosphates

you can add a power head and put the pump like 6-8 inches underwater and direct the flow at an angle towards the surface to increase surface water agitation and hopefully put that stuff in the water column to be taken out by... idk what filtration you are currently using.
