Is this worm bad in a reef tank????

Has a look of a bristle worm or fire worm.....If a fire worm I would remove it but bristle worms are ok, but I also say that when in doubt always remove it!

Its a bristle worm.

They are beneficial since they are like a cleanup crew, but every chance I can get them, I throw them out.

They breed quickly and if you don't have gloves on, they givea good sting.

Yeah i thought it was a bristle worm. Ever since my wrasse jumped out of my tank i have seen them poping up. I loved that wrasse had him for a year and a half. I guess i will have to buy another one to take care of them so the population doesnt get out of control. Thanks

these guys can get out of control quick...and grow to an impressive size
