Is this worm harmful to my Favia?

In the attached pic you will notice a small black dot on the Favia. This is some kind of tube worm that sticks its long milky white tentacles out some times. It seems to be embedded under the Favia. Is this something that I should worry about and if so how would you recommend that I get rid of it?

I think it might be a Vermetid snail although the picture is not very clear (google it). If so, a dot of super glue in the opening takes care of them. The gel stuff is most appropriate.

Thanks for the reply. Turns out it is a Vermetid snail. I have several others in the tank as well. I was told by my LFS that they were fine and not to worry about them, that they were actually beneficial for the tank. After some online research it looks like they are really not beneficial and may even harm some of my corals so I will be trying to get rid of them. I'm going to try the reef/coral glue or superglue first since I don't seem to have a lot of them. At least it appear that I do. Again that you.
