Is this worth it?

Hello my friends. I have a new 30 gallon tank. I don't have a test kit and I'm wondering if this item is worth it. I can't afford a really fancy one. This on i's $100. What are your thoughts?

Yea, you need at least the basics. Ammonia, Nitrate for a fish only with live rock tank. Use API, they are not expensive.

The aqua controller is only a display, you need the probes, power bar and other things A Neptune Apex system is between $750-$1000 depending on whether or not you go with the new or older system. API test kit is roughly $40.
