Is vibrant actually cultured bacteria ?

Has anyone had good results with vibrant aquarium? I just brought a bottle

It helped me knock down a hair algae outbreak. FWIW there is a huge vibrant thread on here that is pretty active.

Vibrant got rid of bubble algae for me. That same tank later got dinos and it did nothing to help that. Had another tank that was showing signs of a different type of dinos so I started dosing Vibrant and the dinos completely went away after about 2 weeks. Now I dose a small amount every week and my tank is almost completely algae and dino free. Maybe it’s the vibrant or maybe not. Either way I’m going to keep dosing weekly.

I would under-dose as compared to over dose - based on my experience.
