Is west virginia considering exotic pet-ban?

Last evening, a friend commented that the state of West Virginia is introducing legislation banning ALL exotic, (non-indigenous) animals.

If this be true, does this include tropical fish, corals, inverts and the decimation of the entire pet industry within the state?

Dogs and cats aren't indigenous to WV either. You'd be limited to snakes, squirrels, common birds, and ground hogs. Don't think you heard the most accurate telling of that proposed legislation.
