I do have some ok pink coraline growing in my 8 month old tank which I'm happy to see. But I also have this white stuff covering some parts of the rock and not sure what it is. Is there such a thing as white coraline? Or is it something else? Not the greatest pics, my apologies, but any thoughts, comments or input from this outstanding community would be greatly appreciated. And yes I am battling the dang hair algae, ugh!

Agree with @blaxsun. To me that looks more like something that cleaned to the bare rock (urchin, some fish, snails, etc). Could have been coralline or just regular a
I do have a tuxedo urchin, maybe he's (or she's) grazing it bare.
