Is your duncan "sticky"

Mine used to be, I think it's good when they are.

I was gone for 6 month and I had a combination of neighbor and local reefing company helping with the tank while I was away, and while overall things went well, the care wasn't the same as if I was here so there were some declines, my duncan being one of them. After trimming back dead skeleton, it's doing decent, but isn't very sticky any longer. I'm hoping the stickiness returns.

Your duncan looks sooo healthy. Do you mind to share lighting, feeding, other secrets in caring for them, please? Mine have short, chubby tentacles, trying to figure why......
