Is your VorTech battery backup warm to the touch?

Just to cap this thing off, I put a $40 battery in this housing and now it’s working exactly as expected. The case is cool to the touch, the charger is mostly green again, and the battery test works as expected with the light hanging all the way to the right. Thank you to everyone for your help and tips!!!

What battery did you use? I’ll keep it in mind if I need to ever replace mine
