I have a Snowflake and it is a jumper for sure, and I am wondering if this holds true for the zebra eel (Gymnomuraena zebra) too?
Thanks,
CB

Eels will investigate any nook, cranny, and crevice. This can often lead to an eel ending up outside of the tank if the top is not properly secured.

Thank you all. Having owed a Snowflake for about an year now, I noticed that at first (first month or so) it was very active and would have jumped easily if I did not have a tight lid, but later on it stopped to the point I am not sure if it would still jump. Do you guys have similar experiences?

That's them getting more comfortable with their surroundings. Less likely to jump when startled, still possible to escape due to exploration.
