Hey guys!

Thanks for any advance help. I'm very new to the hobby. I just did my first water change and now my pump is blowing out water that looks (bubbly). Is this normal?

You could try lowering the output nozzle deeper into the water so it just makes ripples instead of bubbles, or make sure you have enough water in your pump chamber so it isn't sucking in air and spitting it into the tank.

Don't know if you're aware, but evaporated water shouldn't be replaced with saltwater, because salt doesn't evaporate. Just fresh water.

Sorry about the pic. I figured it out. I'm a little embarrassed but it was just that my bag of chemi pure some how got under my filter bag. After I moved it everything started working fine.

Sorry for the waste of time, but thank you again!

I actually already made the salt water top off mistake. It was even more embarrassing. Thanks for the suggestions

There are no stupid questions here. The only way you're going to learn is by asking. No one on this forum will ridicule you for asking what you may perceive to be a novice question. So if you aren't sure of ANYTHING, don't hesitate to ask.
