Hi all I just got a new tank setup and the sump has an ATO Reservoir that is leaking and the salt water is flowing from the first section the water goes into into the sumps ATO, I've never had a sump before so I don't know exactly how it all works as far as Flo and things like that I have an idea but I haven't seen it in action yet I really don't want to pull the sump out and get it replaced for the ATO I was thinking seeing water is getting in there and not just a tiny bit it's filling up but I could use it as a refugium? I don't even want to and use silicone to stop the leak I prefer as a refugium to an ATO anyway but for those people here that have experience would the ATO Overflow under any circumstance that you can think of and would a refugium work there if I added some water flow indicators a light I have added photos, the ato is on the back left and fills to the level of when the water first enters the sump before flowing into the socks

Can you indicate which chamber is the ATO and where the leak is?
In the top picture the ATO is the one behind the green hose, and the leak has to be fairly close to the bottom of the ATO going from the compartment next to it where the pipes come in because it started feeling before the other compartments did

Have you read the manual on how the ATO chamber is supposed to work? Has it been completely setup and configured properly?
It doesn't have an ATO attached to it it is a section that is supposed to stay empty to put freshwater in if you want to get one but it didn't stay empty it started to fill up with the rest of it it is a fault of contacted the place I bought the tank from and they've offered to exchange the sump but I'm thinking seeing the water is getting in there so well that I might prefer it to be a refugium rather than swap it out as I don't think I would use the ATO Reservoir
