Interesting. I have been noticing huge algae blooms on my glass after doing water changes and was beginning to suspect my rodi unit. My unit has the exact same filter setup as pictured here. Perhaps it is time to do a little engineering.
Very true, but Di resin is not designed to clean up 20 to 30ppm of TDS. Your membrane should be cleaning it up better then 20 to 30ppm out. Even at 300PPM TDS in(I've seen guys post 500TDS in, and only 3TDS after prefilters and membrane), a properly running system should still only give as high as 5ppm of TDS out of the membrane.Without knowing his membrane specs and tap water tds it is hard to do the calculations of what he should have before di stage...
Then you'd want your RO water to be less than 10. 98% rejection would give you 8 ppm from 400 ppm. Something is wrong with your ROTap water is ridiculous about 400+ tds
