is there any concern regarding an empty quarantine system running empty for a month or so? I ghostfed about 2 times in that month.

Just wanted to be sure.

The biofilm that builds up on the walls (and everything else) can break down some medications, such as Chloroquine Phosphate. Other than that, I tend to feel it's likely to be a healthier, more welcoming system for newly-arrived fish than a shiny new setup might be.

I actually just recently read that. Hadn't heard about biofilm as a cause of medication issues before. There were issues with my ordered Dwarf Moray. Got Him/her in finally today. She's been in the holding facility for quite some time now so i suspect no active outbreak. Ill still treat cp and gc preventively.

Thanks for the heads up!
