I have a 90 with two AI Hydra 64 HD. I get green build up on glass. I have to clean it twice a day.
I can’t get it under control.
what settings would you use to stop this? I have two Hydra HD.
this is fish only tank now. So I don’t need to grow coral.
thanks

That's an algae bloom. Your water parameters are off and or your lighting. If no corals then you can turn off lights to hopefully help.

I guessing more the lighting. When lighting is off I don’t any algae.

If your water parameters are good then yes, to much light. I had same problem in my tank around 4 month mark.

When you don't have corals then you need a good nutrients export filtration in place otherwise various algaes could use your nutrients to grow in your tank.

I wouldnt worry about lighting until you know what your water parameters are. To help you we need to know test results for Alk, Ca, Nitrates, Phosphates to start with. If you dont have kits for that then take your water to your LFS and let them test it. However, you will need test kits in the future. IMO, turning off your lights is not a solution.
