Issues with Mosquito in ATO

I noticed that in my ATO container mosquito larva and settlement was found. I haven’t seen an increase in Phos or Nitrate. Could this harm the tank water somehow? I have had SPS STN on me during the recent period with no other known issues.
Thoughts?

Friend of mine who does live cultures outside got mosquito larvae after all something else wiped out so mosquito larvae moved in... He said his fish LOVED eating the larvae... but his comment made me giggle: "I don't want to culture something that wants to eat me"
