issues with my Eshoppe protein skimmer

So, i have the eshoppe protein skimmer. Its advertised as basically plug and play, I plugged, sunk it under, it started to make bubbles so i said awesome ill let it break in. But its not making enough bubbles to actually skim, Any tips?

I had same issue. I raised it using some eggcrate and then worked. For me it just didn't work at the depth specified by manufacturer. Try and see if that works?

i would check to see the water depth, the air valve, and venturi to make sure its connected properly. They just bubble a lot but bubbles wont stack up until its broken in
