Issues with my new Hanna Salinity checker ??

Greetings! So I went to change the settings on my new device from PPt to SG & temp from celious to farin height. So I got the temps changed & turned it off & set it aside. Afew later I went thryu the proceedeure to change salinity. Now the tester just scrolls . Form the 1st window,All 8's the to
battery %. shuts down then 4 seconds then repeats over & again I can't turn it off. I finally removed the battery & asking You Folks before I screw it up any more. Any Ideas?

try calling Hanna and could you post a pic of what you're talking about?

Interesting. I changed mine from C to F a little while back and didn’t have any issues. After taking the battery out, did you try putting it back in again just to see? Also, is it possible that the button in the battery cover got stuck down when you changed the setting? Try giving it a few more clicks. Also make sure none of the front buttons have gotten stuck. It’s a pretty simple device with very few buttons, so that’s all I can think of.
