This is probably the kind of thing you have to see in person, but just in case I'm wrong it doesn't hurt to post here. I've had this thing many years. It's the old grey one before they made one "designed" for corals. A long time ago I used to frag quite often. I have used the thing a few times this year for cutting a few rocks and frags. I have had some issues with the blade popping off but now I can't get it to rotate more then 2 times without popping off.
The blade is popping off the top wheel. As per the instructions I adjust the tilt adjustment screw(mine is metal instructions online say nylon) but even if it tighten it as far as I can go it still will pop off. I took everything off and cleaned it up. There certainly is some corrosion but nothing is rusted beyond belief. There really isn't anything else to adjust.
Would a new blade likely solve this issue? The blade is old but so are the wheels. I did get a few cuts out of this recently. I just don't use it enough to replace it. If I have to buy one thing to fix it I'll consider but dont want to order one part and it doesnt help then need another ect. Maybe someone has a magic hack?
