My sand is blowing and a little shallow for my liking. I am thinking to leave my oolitic fine sand and add Carib Fijian pink on top. Any experiences? Good or bad

None. It’s fine.
Yea , i did the oolite thing too.

Led me down the path of deep sand beds in fact.

Really what the oolite was for.

Not hi jack your thread.... but do people have issues with oolite? I was thinking of getting it for my next tank

It's just really fine and blows around everywhere. I used Fiji pink and even that had a crater from flow, but now that the tank is starting to mature the sand doesn't move as much.

No problem as others have stated. I started with Fiji pink, and put a layer of larger grained sand over it as the Fiji was getting blown around.
