I have just recently started our saltwater tank. I used live rocks, live sand and purchased salt water from an aquarium store. Tonight i noticed yellow spots ( I'm thinking Algae along with some hair like stuff)one a couple rocks. Any advise??

It's sponge, a benign hitchhiker.
Sponge and some algae growth.
Nitrates and Phosphates are usually the culprit in new tanks.
Try and get your phosphate checked, either low range hanna checker or LFS. You want it to read .05 or less, anything else is high.
